![]() The political season is upon us... and there's a constant stream of news about the different primary candidates for each party...
What are some ways to make money from politics and political causes? Making T-shirts with political slogans could be one way... Any other ideas? These thoughts were triggered by seeing that the website www.randforpresident.com was on sale at Flippa ... However, that's not the official Rand Paul site. The official site is at www.randpaul.com The auction hasn't gone very high so far - just $5 as of this writing - probably because he hasn't "monetized" the site in any way... But you can see the potential... A better way might be to jump on a specific "cause" which will outlast the primaries... Any other thoughts on this topic? Thanks... Dien |

![]() Hey Dien,
I see this is a new post so I assume safe to reply to without threat of ban. The political primaries really get going early next winter. I've noticed a few of our local Pols (not many) actually have their own Apps. I'm not sure if this would take off on a national level, but there may be some interest or benefit to offering this service for a person to really connect to their political base. Just a thought |

You're right, I don't see why not! An app so they can follow their favorite pol... or even their favorite political issue... I once was helping a restaurant owner with some of his marketing. He told me, one day, a guy walked into his store and offered to develop a specific app for his restaurant, I think he wanted 2000 bucks for it. Anyway, my friend told me about it and asked for my advice. I didn't think he should do it, as I think there were better ways to spend 2000 bucks in this specific case... (In the end, he didn't do it.) However, for a politician with a nationwide following - that's a different matter...! It could be a good way to communicate with your "base" - and "energize" them... Thanks for sharing that, Rick! Best wishes, Dien |
