Help requested please.

Am making the foray into video to be used in, and with, upcoming books.

Really could use suggestions on best camera to use from members who are using video.

Was entertaining the idea of the GoFor but it doesn't have zoom feature, so have kind of put it on the back burner.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I still haven't gotten into video... But everyone says, you MUST get into video...!

I keep thinking about it... Hey, you gotta start somewhere...

I once made my own Star Wars "movie." It was the late 70s... My brother and I got our Star Wars figures, and planted them around the garden in different locations and poses, and took photos. Turned them into a slide show! Of course, there was a story to go with it... Can't remember what it was, though.

Sorry, I know this doesn't help, Cornell... I would also like to know what would be a good camera to use.

I really didn't expect much of a response as Gordon asked about cameras not long ago with little response....but figured I would ask anyhow.

Not my area either (sorry), I just use Screencast-o-matic to do screen captures.

Remember your mobile phone almost certainly has studio quality capability.

And check out Bill Myers site - he's been in the video area for as long as I can remember.

An iPhone—or any other modern smartphone—should be enough to produce decent pics or videos for an e-book.

Shooting in bright light conditions will yield better results, and the final result will also depend on how the pictures are processed for the medium they are to be used on.
