A middleman position between buyer and seller could be a one time deal, albeit lucrative or a recurring income...with control of supply to a demand. AS was written nearly 20 years ago in the original Chattel Report and the one thing most never do is... establish contacts, or connections or a Network. The BOZ, had his own airstrip in Carlsbad, and he had visitors every so often, two were Realtors who had clients interested in his ranch, several more were sellers of airplanes, and buyers paid Bud to go over it, he was not only a 20 year crop dusting pilot but a very well known mechanic. He would charge 1500 bux for a day of his time giving a report on the mechanics of the plane for sale. These often were selling for well over 6 figures. He got between the buyer and seller and when he did, we feasted at the China buffet in town. When you are exposed to this first hand, then the shades of color change when looking though the glasses of opportunity. But it all still boils down to two words... Focused Activity. Gordon |
