![]() I'll be darned if I can figure it out but www.washoecounty.us always gives me a This Page Cannot Be Displayed Error message. This started in the last quarter of last year and has continued.
I know they did an update but that should not have messed with me accessing the site. I occasionally get that error message with other sites but after I refresh the page of the site I am on it almost always pops up. Not washoecounty.us. It never pops up. Anybody have any ideas why that one and only site has fallen off my computer radar? I use it to get the new local business licensees btw. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Tom |

![]() Depending on your browser and available memory, your browser will try to navigate the errors and display the page. But... according to the W3C validator this site has a LOT of errors. See:

Steve, Thank you for the reference. I wonder what they updated? I was in there Monday morning and talked with one of the clerks. She said they just updated the site and it was working better than ever. But looking at your reference, I don't see how. Thanks again for the help. Tom |

![]() Errors on websites can be tricky but it's just loaded OK for me here in Firefox, Chrome & IE.
Various thoughts that often work: * Clear your cache * Clear cookies relating to the site * View it in a private/incognito window * Try a different browser Good luck! |

I don't have any idea what they updated. I'm not familiar with the application used to create the website, but there was a note in the CSS file that warned anyone from editing it. The CSS file is automatically generated. I'm guessing there will be numerous errors they won't be fixing, if they don't edit that file. It will likely cause more trouble down the road.
