The future? Many think so. I'm waiting for the Okie from Muskogee Brand...and FYI, Ol Merle was a heavy Mary Jane user, even had his own brand, allegedly building off of some high quality Willie Nelson weed.

It is already a huge player in the underground marketplace.

And for gambling. I know professionals, those making 6 figures a year, and the ones I know are all fly low types, not the splashy poker player types, although there are many of those who do 6 figures a year easily...

but even then, they approach gambling either as a business or from a professional standpoint. They aren't the fat unshaven guys at the track chomping on a cheap cigar as portrayed in the movies...

These guys are business guys.

When the Sheeet hits the fan as many are predicting, I'll bet you an ounce of opiates will buy you more than an ounce of gold in the wilderness created when the lights go out. If you don't have poppies, hemp grows like a weed, oh, wait...it is a weed, eh?

Checked out ESSI. Interesting play for under a buck and a half a share. If just 30% of their offerings are legit this could be a player in the 10 buck range according to my rough math. Nice hit (no pun) old man.

World is changing rapidly, probably won't effect us old guys, but if you are 40 or younger, man, get busy, opportunity galore out there.

I've had some of my antennae tuned into the stock market, and there are plenty of "weed"-based stocks... Some ganja-based US companies have even listed on the Australian stock market...

And it's for health!

Here's what I've gathered from what I've seen and heard...

Marijuana has many active components in it. THC is the one that gets you high. However, it also contains other cannabanoids...

The other cannabanoids don't get you high. But they have many health properties - including that they could help fight cancer, help with Alzheimer's, and many other possibilities...

Many of these companies are about taking the other cannabanoids - without the THC - and turning it into a medical product...

So... Who'd a thunk it?

Maybe we'll soon see Cheech and Chong playing doctors on TV, spruiking the latest cannabanoid-based medicine...

Wall Street has clearly demonstrated it will do ANYTHING to make a buck, including lie, cheat, steal and bankrupt people by the millions. They love money and DRUGS have always been a big part of their lust for money.

From touting the companies which gave us the Ephedra and Fen Phen deaths, to burying reports on safety issues for Big Auto, Big Pharm and Big Gov't.

Wall St. loves money and they will do anything for it. Weed is just the darling of the day. They love the subprime auto market today, and the less than prime home mortgage is on the creep back.

If one gambles in the stock market, in a short term approach, it is good to know their latest loves...the long term guys may have a smaller risk portion in their portfolios...

but OTC, Forex, Lotteries...and Casinos all offer ways to rid yourself of extra cash...and pink sheets have made fortunes for those selling the pink sheets.

Wall Street. It has ONE love and one love only, don't mistake infatuation with love. You'll wallet will be grateful.
