Default More AI Thoughts

After listening to a couple of well-known internet marketers over the last couple of days concerning using AI, it got me to thinking.

The use of AI to me is as I've said in the past, a way to save time.

You can take, for example, NOTEBOOKLM, and place some of your material and get a nice summary. You can also get a nice study guide from the platform as well as a podcast discussing your material.

All of these summaries can help you create little nuggets on a website or even in print to help sell your product and service.

On a local level, AI tools can help you create copy easier and quicker than slogging through rewrite after rewrite. On that note, there are at least two platforms that allow you to dictate what you want to do and the software proceeds to make corrections... for example, you could say, "Make the copy more friendly," and the software attempts to follow your directions.

It is not only copy that AI is working with lately. I tested ChatGPT on creating some images and it did fairly well. However, I saw a demo of SORA where it created a coffee shop scene with text overlapping the picture that was quite impressive.

As time progresses, I imagine AI will get better and better. The challenge is having to determine what is real and what is AI.

It would seem that using AI to help whatever talents you may have to be more effective or just to save you effort from doing mundane tasks and stick to creative pursuits is the path that AI can help with the most right now.

In other words, what is stealing your time everyday? What are you spending time on that you wish you weren't? I see AI as helping to solve those questions.

Default WHY None of my Copywriting MENTORS are Using Ai

Thanks Millard,

TEST #1 -

I Tested a Few Ai Websites.

Entered

"Taylor Swift Standing on her Head"

Got Kinda Sorta Recognizable pics of Taylor Standing around. NONE of her on her head.

TEST #2 - Behind the Scenes at 15 Jay Abraham Bootcamps.

I was There When Jay Discovered he was Spending HUNDREDS of Thousands to EDIT Transcripts of Each days events.

And EDIT out Bathroom Breaks on The Videos we all got.

Which Got 27% of Home Buyers to CANCEL.

Taking one of The CANCEL CALLS. Jay discovered the Guy
CANCELLED because.

"YOU DELETED All The Good Stuff. Just as an Important idea was Explained.
YOU CUT the Next part out. Again and again."

Jay tried to Explain These Were BATHROOM BREAKS.

The Guy DID NOT Believe him.

Jay Said a few 4 Letter Words.

AND Quit Editing.

SUMMARY -

Robot Ai - Is NOT Trained to Leave MISTAKES in Copy
to Increase Sales.

EXAMPLE #3 - Amazon is Using Ai to SUMMARIZE all the Comments About Each item Sold.

WORTHLESS to me as a Buyer.

Robot Ai is Not TRAINED to Look for The BENEFITS.

Did Anyone make or Save Money?

Was it Cheaper.

Better

Easier to use than Competing Products?

LAST EXAMPLE #4 - Every GURU is TRUMPETING Ai stuff.

What do We Know About The MAJORITY?

They are Always WRONG.

Thanks,
Glenn

P.S. - What is The FUTURE.

Based on What WE SEE NOW.

I just Stumbled Across a Video about The Worst Military in The World.

They are Building 4 Leg Robots
with a Automatic Rifle Strapped across The Back of Each one.

USE YOUR IMAGINATION.

If The Worst Military in The World is
Putting Machine Guns on Robots CONTROLLED By One Guy
Behind the lines.

What are The RICH Countries Doing?

You Say, "Who Cares?"

YOU SHOULD CARE.

Cuz Why Would USA Cops Risk getting Killed in a FAMILY DISPUTE
if They can Send in a Robot. And STUN You.

Does not take a Crystal Ball to PREDICT This happening.

Default Re: More AI Thoughts

Thanks for the info Glenn.

I don't like the idea of Terminator type robots going about willy-nilly shooting people regardless of who is controlling them. What could go wrong?

I was watching Frank Kern using his ojoy.ai software... He had to give it VERY specific prompts to create what he wanted to create.

What I am looking at with AI is the concept of AGI, Artificial General Intelligence. That is a concern.

Have you noticed all the human-like robots China is working on? Not exactly AGI, but programmed to move things from shelf to shelf, clean up things around the house, etc.

Seems like we should, at least, pay attention.

Default I'm sort of with Neil deGrasse Tyson re: deep fakes.

He thinks AI news generation will basically crumble news online altogether...and deep fakes will be the cause of the Internet becoming a non source of news.

With AI getting good at scraping news stories and with some prompts (coding) some will be able to generate any story they want...and once a critical point is reached (he predicts 2028), few will believe any "news" type thing online. We already have those who hate main stream, and call it fake news...but soon, ALL online news could be AI generated.

As for using AI in marketing, I'm with Glenn, don't think it stands up to a marketer (old school) who knows what they're doing.

I've found it far less useful than I thought it would be a few years ago.

And yes, paying ATTENTION these days, is a very good idea...next month, APRIL 2025 may have significant events (as history shows it to be a month of changes)...maybe the beginning of the end or the end of something, or maybe just Showers, as April is known to bring.

Default Fake News is Already So BAD at Youtube I Have to Google Check stories

few will believe any "news" type thing online

Thanks Gordon,

SAD to Say We Are ALREADY there.

Where we Cannot Believe THE NEWS.

WINK - WINK -

Why do You Think Trumps Fake Arrest And All the TRUMPED UP lawsuits. And The
Arrests of the 1200 Private Citizens Who Trump Allegedly SENT to ATTACK Congress. (Amazing shortage of Picture Proof)

Were
Ignored
by
Voters.

The Media Already LIE Like a Rug.
And
Are Training Ai robots to HELP Them Change Public Opinions.

Now.

I'd Like to Hear Neil Degrasse OPINION on the Effect that TEACHING Ai to LIE
is going to have on Artificial Intelligence.

THAT Could Have SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES.

Thanks,
glenn

P.S. - I am already clicking on WEIRD Stuff I am Not interested in on Youtube.com
in
an
effort
To Punch holes in my INFO- MIRROR.

Racing Wabbits (I Found a Video of Rabbit that ran out in front of racing greyhounds)
Talking Squirrels
How to climb a Palm tree
Juggling Cocoanuts
Antonio Gauti - Snapping Turtle Sculpture

Have You Seen GENIUS - Shoshona Zuboff Speech About Artificial Intelligence
Circling each of us with a INFO-MIRROR to Influence our OPINIONS
By Subtly Changing What We Watch on Internet and iPhones?

THAT IS Truly DANGEROUS.

Because Until SHE Said Something I was NOT AWARE this was Possible.

OR

THE GREED BASED- Reason Why it IS Being Done to all of us ON-LINE.

SIMPLE.

To use the Trillions of Bits of Collected Data on Each of us
to SELL to Giant Corporations to INFLUENCE what we Buy.

Default Clicking on Weird Stuff

Thanks Glenn for the idea !

You hit it out of the park by telling about clicking on weird things to fool the AI spies that track us.

Just had a funny thought about that, though.

Will the clicking on weird and crazy stuff not only fool the algorithm, but cause weird emails and crap to come our way?

I think I will give it a try and see what happens.

Cheers,

Millard

Default STILL getting stuff from when I was a pregnant teen with twins.

In the archives, going back about 22 years ago, I set up an account as a teen mother to be, expecting twins, using one of the obscure emails from back then...and that account, was getting FOR YEARS, follow ups, from early day diapers, to toddler to teen related stuff. That old AI followed me as a teen mom for two decades.

Today, one would have to be more careful doing something like this...which is why I'm going to toss the computer, and iphone, and stay below the radar. What do we really need from being online?

I also notice that AI copywriting is mediocre.

Noticed too about Frank Kern ojoy.ai , he has to insert many specific inputs.

Default Frank Kern has built a Large Team

Thanks Mike, Dien/Gordon,

I believe Frank has focused on Complex Social Media Marketing
For ONE REASON.

Nobody can Do what he does.

Or Very Few.

When he first surfaced - if I remember correctly.

He made a Big Impression on me cuz he Reminded me of Bob Morrison.

Serial Entrepreneur.

Who ALSO Does things few can do.

Bob would phone from Zip codes in a Telephone book. To figure out the shopping patterns near a mini-Mall.

THEN Buy a Bankrupt - Washer/Dryer/Refrigerator Store. Then Blanket the PROVEN Zip Code
of Shoppers with CAN'T SAY "No" Offers.

Post Card Says:

50 New Refrigerators, Washers, Dryers
AT Factory COST
to Celebrate our GRAND OPENING.

(Maybe have 10 guys who REPAIR Equipment. Each With a garage full of used
Washer - dryer fridges. And have a Bunch of Backends - so he made money.)

THEN out-promote his Competition.

=====
=====
Frank - When I first SPOTTED HIM.
was selling DOG TRAINING books. A book for each major Dog Breed.

Didn't Write the books.

Ran ads. Had people Write One Chapter.
GIFTED them the Entire book in Return for
Free use of the Chapter they wrote.

Then Sold the entire book full of CHAPTERS to THOUSANDS of Dog Owners.

Most Folks CANNOT DO That.

But They WILL PAY to have
Frank and his Team Generate LEADS
And sell stuff FOR Them.

Thanks,
Glenn

P.S. - This is just MY OPINION. I am Sure Frank and his team would
take UMBRAGE at this. But This is My TakeAway.
