![]() Confession: didn't know much about Charlie Kirk and nothing about Brian Kilmeade...I do know of Rosie O'Donnell, although hard pressed to tell you anything she did, or is known for.
Yes, I live under a rock, not much involved in worldly affairs. As for the murder of C. Kirk...I defer to poet John Donne; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee. As much as I want to be an island of one, there is a certain reality too. I note the APOLOGY has been widely adopted via the old saw: better to ask for forgiveness than permission... it is one of those sayings considered by many to be a truism, especially for those who are going to go ahead and do the whatever no matter what...and this brings me to this post. It seems to keep one's self in the spotlight of some sort of media, one has to say something stupid, and then a week or days later apologize. I don't regard apologies or responses to news as news. Sorry. A public murder is news, be it someone in the spotlight or a child in the classroom. Your opinion of the event is NOT news. From my view from the moon (or from the cave beneath the rock), I see a lot of movement, involvement in everyone's business, as opposed to seeing so many people involved in their own. I mean this literally for those of you would be Entrepreneurs, who have a business to run, money to make, and a life to build. Sure, it can and should include your ideology, your personal beliefs. I just wonder if all the chatter, the noise, the loud voices of so many, aren't limiting in some way, a more peaceful existence when one tends to their own garden first, before trying to tell the neighbor what to plant, and therefore harvest. It is the foundation of this place, planting seeds of wisdom for harvests of happiness. And we started with the idea of reaping what you sow, so today I ask all you to take a moment and reflect upon your current harvest...and think of what tomorrow's will be based on what you are sowing today. Apologetically yours, a 'clod' of the continent. Gordon Jay Alexander Last edited by GordonJ : September 15, 2025 at 02:02 AM. |

![]() Thanks Gordon,
When Asked by a reporter, "Why don't you use your Bully Pulpit to help others?" Johnny Carson answered with WISDOM. Probably the Reason he was the Most Successful Of all The NIGHT SHOW HOSTS. Carson said, "I believe my show is best used to Entertain. And there is the Real Possibility Of doing DAMAGE if I were to talk Politics." I just saw STATS on all of the current NIGHTSHOW "Stars" All are Around 1 Million viewers. Their are Podcasters with FIVE TIMES more Viewers. Which means they are ALL Losing money for their Network owners. HEH HEH So if you TALK POLITICS - you are Guaranteed to MAKE People Mad. And give your Bosses an EXCUSE to Fire you. Which just happened to one of these BOZOS. Carson used to Make FUN of everybody. A much better Strategy. Thanks, Glenn |

![]() Hi Gordon,
There’s a strategy used by people living in dictatorships... Keep your head down, do your best to navigate the treacherous waters, and don't insult the ruler... I believe Donald Trump has declared that insulting him is now out of bounds. This has been developing for a while... It's long become gradually impermissable to oppose a certain middle eastern country who seems to pay off most US politicians, which many accuse of committing genocide with US taxpayer dollars. Opposing that country now can get you to lose your job, get arrested, and if you're not a citizen, get you deported. Many politicians said, why can't we have some of those benefits ourselves, too? Maybe the constitution will protect us... Maybe not... Either way, I believe there's always a way through the mess for astute individuals...! But it may involve keeping your head down, navigating the treacherous waters, and not insulting the ruler... Best wishes, Dien Quote:

![]() The nekked King will be gone soon enough. It is what comes after that, when all the minions and sychophants, who told him he was beautiful in his royal birthday suit...pick up Dumbty's pieces and try to put him back together...and the Frankensteinish monster that creates...well, that's
the troubling part. One Katrina changed New Orleans for decades. I am thankful for those who do not keep their heads down, who are trying to rebuild the levies to prevent another destructive hurricane from doing so much damage. You know I have a long history of predicting this coming civil war, I think my crystal ball was a decade or so early...but now? It may be a time to choose which side one wants to be on. I do not envy those folks with small children whose future may be fraught with tough choices. Anyhow, I see a naked wannabee king. No amount of spin, smoke and mirrors and censorship can make me unsee it...and THAT nekkedness, AIN'T pretty to look at. Gordon Quote:

![]() Hi Gordon,
I agree with you, "the emperor's new clothes" is a good analogy! I think everyone sees it, but most won't speak up out of fear or self-interest... Certain people will figure out how to succeed no matter what... I believe that's guaranteed... Thanks for sharing, Gordon! Best wishes, Dien Quote:
