Default Re: What RUT are you in? Or do you know someone who is?

That is a great workbook idea! One rut I have is mental. I guess you'd call them "thinking ruts".

For example, certian things happen to me in life and it triggers something like a "tape" in my head, and unless I catch it and turn it off, and mentally shift to another thought or way of thinking, old patterns of feelings and actions take place, causing another rut and on and on it goes.

Default Here are Some More Ruts.....

Hi Gordon!

Many of my ruts are kid related (wonder why?!) though I have been incredibly productive lately.

I figured out the WHY there, also!

#1) Focusing on Gratitude
#2) Creating a Daily Possibilities List that does not change, I simply list the standard tasks I would complete on a perfect day.

I don't hold myself at gun point to finish them off cause it would be a HUGE stretch! I DO find myself reaching more and more each day though, its AMAZING what this one tool has done for me.

Here are some ruts:

Eating the same food all the time cause its what the kids like instead of exposing them to new stuff

Not trying new parenting techniques even though this ONE behaviour is driving me nuts because "I am so tired and it would take too much energy!" (as if the behaviour is not draining energy?!)

I think you said Unsatisfying Sex. How about Not having ANY sex?! Although I am a firm believer in No Sex is Better than Bad Sex...but that is a topic for another place and time!

Not taking time to declutter daily so clutter piles up and becomes an energy clogger extraordinaire

Writing/Reading the same Genre/Authors all the time

Only participating in one form of physical exercise

Having Cookie Cutter Friends (all look, sound, dress, everything is alike).

I am sure I could come up with more....but I am heading to sleep soon! Its WAYYYY too late!

With Purpose and Passion,
