![]() Hi All.
I'm just wondering if anyone here on this list has used WorldWideLists to build their newsletter list? I got over 5000 "triple opt in" subscribers from and they have been UN-responsive and basically worthless. Most are "yahoo" addresses and the people can't even speak english which makes me wonder how in world they can even "triple opt in". I'm thinking they're not even single optin! Have any of you had experiences like this using this company? Thanks bunches, Jessika |

![]() Hi Jessika (with a "K"),
I haven't heard of the company in question, and what the fook is triple opt-in? If you're not looking to build a list from scratch and instead buy subscribers then I think you're going to have problems regardless of which company you use. Colm. |

![]() Jessika, I've read about world wide lists in other places and they are not good to deal with, as you discovered. I have no personal experience with them as I, like most other reputable marketers, would not even consider purchasing lists of that type.
Suggest you re-read the response with an open mind. Doing so might enable to you to see the help that was offered in the other post you summarily dismissed. FYI: responding as you did is the way board spammers usually react. Hope you're not in that category. We gave you benefit of the doubt either way. Sandi Bowman |

I'm NO spammer! I followed the advice of the biggest names in the biz. Terry Dean and many others claim WorldWideLists is great. I really need to hear from someone who's actually used them. As for being a real, honest marketer, I also use PPC advertisng, article submissions, etc to build my list. JessiKa |

Charmed I'm sure. The big name's are often quick to praise something that's going to make them a quick buck. As previously stated, in future, build your own list. If it looks too good to be true then it normally is. If it's a list building tips and techniques e-book, good; but these list building "programs" tend to be very pyramid scheme like. Colm. |

![]() Jessika, thanks for the reassurance about not being a spammer. Was hoping that was true. BTW, welcome to the forum.
Terry Dean and others are very good, I have no doubt, as he has helped me in the distant past. You will learn that there is a 'good old boy' network on the internet, just as there is in any business environment. This has both pluses and minuses to it. Most of the advice you get will be right on target at the time they used it, or they recommend it to you but you must also recognize that people and businesses evolve. Sometimes businesses evolve in ways we wish they hadn't and, unless our experience is recent, a recommendation is virtually useless. My advice is to keep that in mind when accepting or rejecting recommendations, no matter who it came from. Terry wouldn't deliberately steer anyone wrong (he's an above-board kind of guy to my knowledge) but businesses change over time and oopses can happen. Thought you might like to keep that in mind. Wishing you all due success always. Sandi Bowman |

![]() Hi,
Yes, I had a similar experience. I paid another co-op registration service, with a fantastic reputation and tons of testimonials. Initially they delivered as promised, then my payments exceeded the delivery, since I was being automatically billed monthly. I wrote to customer service several times saying that I was not getting what I paid for, but nobody bothered to reply. However, after I got frustrated and cancelled my service, I received lots of invitations to get help. The list I got was remarkably unresponsive. And the drop-out rate was high. I think I still have a business because I had originally built my list the old-fashioned way, using JV ventures and posting articles. But now even though I have doubled my list size, I have not enjoyed the benefits of having a bigger list. I really wanted co-op lists to work, because it puts the entire e-business model on autopilot. But, the quality is really low, a lot of the emails are hotmail and yahoo and don't even get your emails, and the drop-out rate is high as well. ~Saleem |

![]() Hey Jessika
Sorry to hear about your experience with World Wide Lists,,,,,I have not personally used that company,,,,,,but my experience with buying lists has been similar......unresponsive, with lots of bounced email. There are many ways to build lists, and sounds like you have tryed many of them too. What is your current primary business? I like many others have tryed PPC, and free ad techniques,,,,,It is all about conversion,,,,,no matter what the source do they generate more revenue than they cost,,,,,,,,I blend lots of different advertising methods in my list building strategies .....SEO, PPC, Traffic exchanges, article, forums, etc etc, and track the results,,,,,and drop those that do not respond, and convert Let me know if I can help in anyway |
