![]() I received this in my email, does anyone know if it's true? This is only part of it. I have a home based business, but still work outside the home pt, but I think this would be too good to be true not to pay any taxes on money withheld by my employer.
Wait to File Until the Trial! Read our letter that's being mailed to 300,000 people Read our newspaper Ad (pdf - 333K) The We The People Foundation for Constitutional Education has launched Operation "Wait to File Until the Trial." This effort is to inform as many Americans as possible that: The very legality of the U.S. income tax system goes on trial February 27th at a congressionally sponsored public hearing on Capitol Hill. This historic event is the result of a three-year effort by the We The People Foundation For Constitutional Education and thousands of supporters nationwide. At the 2-day hearing, we expect to prove conclusively that the IRS does not have the legal authority to force employers to withhold taxes from the paychecks of their employees, or to force most Americans to file a return or pay the income tax.If the research is confirmed publicly, most Americans may be entitled to a refund of 100% of the income tax paid or withheld in 2001.All Americans should wait until the public hearing before they file their tax returns. work from home |

![]() This and various other foundations have been trying to propose that the income tax system is a) fraudulent b) something illegal c) a Ponzi scheme. Their reasoning is based on their OWN interpretation of the law (not the consensus by the courts) and often makes heavy use of the Bible as a law book (supplanting all state laws and civil laws that they don't agree with.)
I've seen several of the briefs. I'm not a lawyer, but the reasoning was very obviously weak (one such brief attacked the court that basically threw out the case and said the court was "not a legal court of law" because they flew not the American flag, but an American flag with fringe around it (which is, apparently, an admiralty flag and not a US flag.) These people and all the others fighting for No Taxes have lost every single court case in every single court. Here's a page showing why the tax protestors keep losing their cases: http://www.quatloos.com/taxscams/taxprot.htm And another good page: http://evans-legal.com/dan/tpfaq.html I wish I could find the page with some of the choice quotes from many of the cases filed. It's so absurd.... |
