Default How would YOU go about this?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience in "brokering" trades?

The reason I'm asking is because I have found two contacts, one wanting a product the other selling the product.

I would like to introduce these two parties, and in the process be payed a finders fee if the transaction goes through.

How would YOU go about this? And especially, how would you go about not being cut out?

Another problem, is that one of the contacts is in South Africa, the other in the U.S. and myself in Europe! I have their email addresses, phone numbers and so on.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Best Regards,

Frederik

Default You have a buyer, and a seller - now how do you collect your Finder's Fee? Here's how to get started

Hi Frederick,

As you said, you know a buyer, and you know a seller, and you want to know be able to put them together and get a fee for it....

In most cases it is the one who will be paid (that is, the SELLER) who will be most willing to pay you. That is, since they are the ones receiving the money (and making a profit), it is more likely that they will be willing to share some of that profit with you than the buyer will. But be careful!

You have to "tie up" that agreement for him to pay you BEFORE you tell him who the prospective buyer is! If you just give him the contact details of the buyer for free, he doesn't owe you anything in payment unless you get a signed agreement first!

How do you get this agreement? I feel it would probably not be right to give away all the answers in Jim Straw's manual, but you WILL find the answer in there (yes, I have a copy of it myself)....

I've linked to it below.... I found it very useful myself (and I don't give recommendations lightly).

Just get it.
