Default I love rich people!

Hi,

I love the rich! They're the best customers!

Here's an article that was supposed to be critical of rich people, but that instead increased my admiration for them and desire to sell stuff to them, such as the $10,000 grill described in the article.

If you'd like to read more, the link is below...

Best,

- Boyd

Default The article talks about "outdoor rooms"

Hi again,

Is there a site that shows pictures of what these "outdoor rooms" are like? Could someone post an URL?

Thanks in advance for any replies,

- Boyd

Default Toys of the Rich

Hi Boyd,

Thanks, interesting topic!

I was watching a documentary a few days ago, about "classic" race cars, and those who buy them.... People can pay millions of dollars for some of these truly rare, classic race cars!

What was amazing to me about that program was when they spoke to many of the people who owned these cars.... These cars were a real passion to them. But one thing was no different from anyone else.... They were COLLECTORS! They spoke about their cars the same way a stamp collector would talk about his stamps, or a coin collector might talk about his coins....

I think most of us are collectors of SOMETHING or other. Like many passionate collectors, they'll pay a LOT to add a rare item (in this case, a "classic" race car) to their collection!

I guess the other thing is exclusivity - people like to have something that others don't have.... Maybe that's why a person would buy a $10,000 grill. They buy it partly BECAUSE it's $10,000, and they can afford it (while others can't). They can show it off to their friends!

I'm curious to know what features a $10,000 grill has!

- Dien

Default Toys of the Rich have a viral marketing effect built in

Hi,

The article said when they sell one $10,000 grill in a neighborhood, they can expect to make a few more sales from the same neighborhood.

Viral marketing at its best...

Regards,

- Boyd
