![]() (That headline sounds like a disease, doesn't it?)
Well, ever since I have been earning a living, I have had "something" going on the side. I've always worked my own part-time "business" besides a full time job. When I worked in the 2-way radio business in the early 70s, I would repair ham radio gear on the side. I would sell used ham radio gear at the hamfests (radio flea markets). Later I entered the broadcast field working full time for TV stations. While doing that, I would do contract engineering for small radio stations. All through this time I dabbled in MLM and made some extra money, usually with the health food related MLMs. Since the Internet happened, I have made extra money with various websites selling as an associate for other net marketers, and selling my own creations. Of course, Ebay is a great way to make some extra bucks. Almost all my listings on Ebay sell (every once and awhile I may have to relist an item and make an adjustment to the headline or price...) Most recently I have been concentrating on setting up autopilot websites...money-machines, if you will. Set them up to handle the whole deal automatically from accepting the order to delivering the product. (I had a notice from ClickBank this morning in my email that I had made another sale...must have come through while I was sleeping. Nice surprise to wake up to...) As for the WHY I do MSI...maybe I'm a workaholic. Maybe I am fighting some subconscious fear of not having enough money for my family...maybe I want to feel like I control part of my income. (Yes, I know I control my full time income, too, but it is just sort of a "given" until I resolve some other inner issues.) The key to the whole thing is maintaining some semblance of balance to your life. I am concentrating on income generators that require minimal start up costs and then run on autopilot. That way you can have MSI working for you while you are busy doing other things too. Be blessed, JDB P.S.
