Mike, if you are referring to these items: USB to IDE Adapter USB to IDE and SATA Adapter The answer is yes, you plug in an IDE device like a hard drive or DVD/CD drive and you access it from your USB port just like you would a memory stick. Both adapters also have the mini-ide connector for laptop drives. Bigger drives require the included power supply while the laptop side is powered from the USB port. The second adapter includes support for all SATA devices as well. Hope this helps. TomG. |
