Need Help With My Email Subject Line!

The way you feel "stalked" if someone addresses you by the first name in an email subject line.

Curious. Do you have the same feeling IF it is from someone you know? A name you recognise?

I suppose an email can be addresses with specific information the receiver should know. Details from your website, the name of a product you sell, and so on.

But if I get two emails with pretty well the same subject line, but one has my name, then the one with my name will probably get opened. Not just because my name is there, but because it is there with something else specific that tells me "this is not spam."

Your remark about stalking though could also be how other women feel. Which would mean we should address our email subject lines differently for men and women.

Personally, I tend to address my emails how I'd like to get them.

It's interesting how we process email (make the decision) in our fight against spam and in our use of the delete feature.
