Up periscope. The future of the net.

One of the most treasured memories from our submarine is of the time the captain looked through the periscope and someone had put graphite on it, he looked like a raccoon, although no one said a word, he walked around like that for hours. Great fun on the sub.

Today, Periscope is a recent acquisition by Twitter to counter Meerkat and other emerging live streaming applications.

LIVE STREAMING via your iPhone makes one a newscaster, a reviewer, a storm chaser or even, like TMZ, a celebrity stalker.
