IF you are in the US.

3 for the book and 10 for shipping if you are like me and live outside of the US.

$13US all up - about $6792.47AUS HA! ($24-$26 actually) - certainly nothing to break the bank - BUT OH - the psychology of it.

Tell me 10 for the book and 3 for shipping and I think nothing. But tell me shipping is over 3 times the cost of the product, and you just put one big psychological block in the way.

Unfortunately, I WANTed to use PayPal (That is my Customer Request) but Melvin only accepts Visa/Mastercard. So I have gone looking elsewhere - namely closer to home.
