Default Are you at all EXCITED?

About anything?

Cause, if you're not, I'm feeling sorry for you (but only for a NY minute)...there is so much to be excited about...maybe too much.

The past month has been my deep dive into available AI, mainly chatgpt and Bard, although these are infants compared to what is coming very soon.

BUT, I also approached it from a "what's in it for me?" approach...and found a TIME saving useful approach to the business of creating and selling information.

I have a very superficial knowledge of AI, by design, it is a rabbit hole I can NOT afford to go down, just too old for that. So, by default, I look for what can any tool do for me, do it better, faster, easier than what I used to do.

And that is WHY you might want to get a little excitement going. Just in the last few days, I've identified tools, and have watched CONTENT created in hours, and into the market in a DAY.

It isn't only AI, but there are a lot of exciting things out there, stuff to get your motor running and to get you all revved up; with someplace to go (thanks and RIP Meatloaf).

My latest project is getting AI to pull all the data I need for my Psychic Power Generators, getting both Push (Transmission) and Pull (Reception) data in a useable form.

Your mind is like a cell phone, or TV, or radio...choose your poison.

Your cell can send and receive. So can your mind (thoughts).

Think of a road rage incident, where someone PUSHES his thought, maybe with one finger and a raging face to another person, who chooses to RECEIVE the message and respond in kind.

You don't believe we can receive other people's thoughts? HA!

But to get that refined down, for a more personal beneficial use takes some effort and doing.

And even then, what we know is often unavailable in the heat of the moment, which is why I am big on reminders in the form of HOTSHEETS, kits, notebooks, booklets, work sheets...all tools to help me remember to use what I already know.

Anyhow, thought for today. EXCITEMENT. Do you have any at all?

Default Re: Are you at all EXCITED?

Very excited.

Change is fun - have experienced lots in my lifetime:

* TV from 2 (black & white) channels to hundreds or more
* Phones from booth/shared with neighbours to always with us
* Space exploration - we've kind-of reached the edge of the solar system physically & photographed near enough the beginning of time as we know it
* Information - from my old electric typewriter to computers writing stuff for me. Next book is taking a bit longer than a day but it's not been #1 priority to create almost 80 pages of words and add in illustrations so it won't be ready until tomorrow. In less time than it would have taken to get a new ribbon for my old Smith Corona and much more a background task - it's written half a dozen pages while I've written this post
* Computers generally - my first one had a built in cassette deck (first "real" PC still had the connections for a cassette deck). Tech stuff that sci-fi writers wouldn't have dared write about is now in our pocket or on our desk or even in our car or washing machine

Main danger is too many rabbit holes to explore

Default It will open the floodgates... for this kind of person!

Hi Gordon,

AI will be an incredible revolution... Probably as big as industrialization, home computers, the internet...

Many people will lose jobs... But I think much of it will be more "rote" work...

For those who are creative, though, I believe it will help to release the floodgates of their potential...!

I'm also doing some of my own experiments with AI, with some positive results... Will share some of it later!

Best wishes,

Dien

Default Why I'm Excited About My New Super-Hero Buddy

"AI will be an incredible revolution"

Thanks Dien,

Invisible to Us - Recent Research Shows AI has been Here for Several Years ALREADY.

Each of us has Been Hooked up to a SUPER COMPUTER.

Those "Personal Photos and Messages" that Pop Up Everywhere
After You Google - "Pet Food for Kittens?"

A Super Computer has Kept a File on Everything You do on Your Phone and
Computer. And Helpfully Follows you around - Popping Up INFO -- Just for You.

YOUR Brain And Mine Have Already been Changed.

What I Am EXCITED about is The Opportunity to Have a SUPER COMPUTER as a Friend.

Buddy.

Pal and Free Research Partner.

PLUS I Throw a Few WARPED WORDS into The Search Engine
Just to Make Sure My SUPER BUDDY is Awake.

Pigs that Walk on Water

Talking Pens. (They do make them)

Weeds I Can Eat.

Shoes with Wheels.

New Solar Gadgets

Birds that Swim

Flying Cats.

Was Nicola Tesla an Alien?

Keep my New SUPER BUDDY on It's Toes.

Thanks,
Glenn
