Default How Can I Hire Large Volume of Holiday Salespeople

I need to hire 100 Salespeople within the next week. This is all for local Sales of Santa Callling Cards. Any ideas to getting good people quickly, AND inexpensively?

Thanks,
Matt on Long Island, NY

You might consider posting an ad on Craigslist.org for starters. And, call your local unemployment office.

Thanks so much, Pete. I already did the Craigslist Ad & only received a handful of replies. Also, Unemployment Ofc. is a good idea too.

Hi MattDin,

LindaC here.

Are you looking to hire inside or outside salespeople?

What kind of special training is required?

Do you provide on-the-job training?

Is this full-time or part-time employment?

What are the required hours of work?

Is a drug test required?

What is the rate of pay?

Answering these questions in your ads...could go a long way in find the large volume of salespeople you are searching for.

My Best 2 U,

LindaC

Thumbs up Re: How Can I Hire Large Volume of Holiday Salespeople

Hey Linda,

Thanks for your great ideas. I just need about 100 reliable people to do outside sales of santa calling cards. These will be part of a fundraiser dealing with Toys for Tots. No special training, just smart, hard-working college kids or adults to get restaurants/businesses to sell these for the season. (In the NYC/Long Island area)

Default Local radio?

You could probably be interviewed by local radio on how difficult it is to find people willing to work in such difficult economic times - I bet you'd have a queue round the block ....

Another line of thought - if there are companies locally laying off people, get in touch with their personnel departments and tell them that there are temporary, part-time vacancies. I'll bet there are a few workers who would be glad of some extra cash at Christmas.

Good luck
Margaret
