>1) COFFEE SLEEVE ADS

Just to point out how viable this idea is, here are just a couple of
sites that came up in a quick search on Google:

http://www.4yourcups.com
http://www.offlinepromotions.com/cup_sleeves.htm

For those of you thinking about working this opportunity, you
might want to get moving on it now so you can be the first in
your community.

And here's an article about something that you might not have thought
about, a possibly profitable add-on for the coffee sleeve:

Default The Pizza Chain will LAUNCH You into some BIG Numbers!

Hey Joe.... even though you had to give them an "exclusive" (you sometimes have to do that with the people who hold out a big carrot)...and lost the potential income from any other pizza place...you can use the Chain as CREDIBILITY for YOUR new program for other types of businesses.

It is no longer YOU saying your program is a "good thing"...it is the Pizza Chain TESTIFYING that it's a "good thing".

Also...I HOPE you did not mention that you were planning on emailing THEIR CUSTOMERS with offers from OTHER Advertisers. If the pizza chain can give you a list of 3 or 4 thousand (or more)
OPT-IN Email Club Members...YOU can charge OTHER advertisers a ONE-TIME FEE of AT LEAST $250 PER THOUSAND to send their email coupon!

WHY can you demand a fee like this?

Because these people actually ASKED TO BE IN THE EMAIL CLUB! THIS IS SO POWERFUL...IT IS MIND BOGGLING!

It's like contacting SUBSCRIBERS to magazines or newsletters...you can get BIG BUX for these.

Keep us posted on your progress Joe. THIS is EXCITING! We are watching it happen as it plays out. Terrific! Maybe some others will be motivated by your TAKING ACTION.

Again...IDEAS are all around us. All we have to do is put together a Program and go out and DO IT!

Thanks for sharing....

Yes! That just hit me like a ton of bricks
last night. That's a POWERFUL advantage for
us now.

Well... that was actually one of the first
questions they asked me... "who owns the list?".
Calmly and without hesitation I replied...
"We do! But we give you access to download
your client list." And we explained that we
will also send timely advertisments to "their"
list.

They understood and we moved on.

Yes! And the numbers should add up quickly.

It won't say it's been easy. You know as well
as anyone that we've been at this game for
awhile now. But if I could give just one
bit of advise from a war torn entrepreneur
wannabe...

NEVER GIVE UP! KEEP ON TRYING AND PUSHING
FORWARD!

and most important (thank you Gordon and Rick
for reminding me)...

Quit planning and researching and all that
other time wasting stuff and TAKE ACTION NOW!

Thanks for everything guys.

Have great weekend.

Default Re: Don, how are the ads put on the white board?

I make the ads from a piece of 1/8 plastic and the copy is ETCHED. I then drill 2 1/8" holes in the top of the ad and they are HUNG on brass nails pounded into the white background plastic.

Well... we have a small set-up marketing
Merchant Services (Credit Card Services)
to small brick n mortar businesses.

Including a few work at home telemarketers
and a few sales reps. We simply landed
the appointment by old fashioned telemarketing.

Sorry... no real magic formula. Just the
dreaded cold calling. ;o)

Hope that helps.

Default How to Make Money in the Sticks

I want to thank Don Alm and many of the other posters to this board for sharing some truly great ideas.

I host a discussion group for folks moving to the country or small town America. Many of these folks are worried about leaving their city salaries behind.

I have started a thread (linked below) about the process of inventing country based businesses. You might find the topic interesting. Under that topic I have posted a link back to this board and Don's ideas above as a first example for others to consider.

I would appreciate any support or comments that knowledgable posters to this board wish to share with the readers of mine. I'm sure my visitors would say the same.

Best wishes for a new year.

John Raabe

I didn't think you used magic. Would you care to share the script that you used?

I have noticed that some people in this forum give freely of their knowledge and experience (like Don Alm, Dien Rice, and Gordon Alexander). And yet some, who ask for advice and help, when they get assistance they act very appreciative. And yet, when THEY are asked for help they don't lift a finger to help others. Why is this? Is it just fear?
