Default Do you have a favorite, inspirational quote?

I have a place on my computer where I jot down notes about anything interesting or useful I come across, or insights I have...

Among the clutter of various things, are inspirational and wise quotes I've come across!

Here are a few I've noted down...

Quote:
"If you always assume that there’s always something there to learn, you will always be successful."
- Sifu David Peterson (A Wing Chun martial arts expert)

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit."
- Aristotle

"To be a company that society wants to exist."
- Honda mission statement

I was wondering, what are some inspiring or wise quotes that you've really liked?

- Dien

Default Where the head goes, the body follows.

My 8th grade wrestling coach.

BUT, with 40 years of business experience behind me now, I've seen it time and time again.

Which is why it is so important to have your "head on straight" at the start of the project. If I've seen ONE universal mistake made by scores of would be Entrepreneurs it would be this:

They don't THINK the plan through to conclusion. Sure, there are countless success stories of people who just "Did It". But for everyone of those, it has been my experience to find at least 10-20 who did not THINK through and do not have a WRITTEN PLAN of Action to follow.

And so we see staggering numbers of failure, frustration and falling by the wayside by people who followed their head to harm...because, they did not put the HARD MENTAL effort into their projects before they started.

So, where is your head?

Gordon Jay Alexander

PS. Thanks Dien, these are always helpful posts that stimulate the thinking.

Default Quote from a Woman Who Wins Every Contest She Enters

Dear Dien,

Thanks.

Good topic.

I've been reading this amazing book, "The Name it And Claim it Game" - I bought direct from Helene Hadsell. Not thru an over-priced bookstore.

She has 2 quotes I especially like:

Select --What You Want
Project --Energy Around it
Expect --You'll Get It
COLLECT --it

------------------------------

"You Can Only Think About ONE Thing at a time."

Helene says that if you Think about
ONE THING you want with Enough
ENERGY...

Failure is impossible.

If you don't reach your goal or get what you want - right away -
it simply means you haven't reached the ENERGY Tipping Point yet.

KEEP GOING.

Little By Little The Energy Builds up until what you've Thought about day after day - week after week is Yours.

Helene is in her 80's now.

Used this MIND ENERGY Method to win houses, cars, trips all over the world.

Helene doesn't know me. I simply agree with the way she Thinks.

Thanks,
Glenn Osborn

P.S. - If You Want to Physically Experience this Slow Energy Build up - FOR REAL...(The Palms of Your Hands Heat Up Until They Sweat.)

We're currently Experimenting with an Ancient Chinese Exercise. You Can Listen to the "HOT HANDS Energy Gun" Mp3 Audio file - here - at the tippy top of my Archive page...

Listen to your body...it never lies. Any 'lie' is in the interpretation of observation.
