Seby, I’d like to ask, what sort of methods would you like to adopt? If you have natural talents in specific areas, you can do some work in those areas. Or you could do more generic office type work like data entry, writing articles and resumes etc. I suggest you to make a profile on some trusted business sites. Trusted business sites help you to supplement your salary.

Good for you for wanting to supplement your salary. But like PeterP has said, there are a lot of ways to go.

Above in the STICKY post area, you see a link to a FREE report; BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING. Spend 15 minutes reading it. It could open your eyes to the possibilities, including the opportunity to WASTE a lot of time and money finding something that suits you.

Start there, then you can begin to narrow your choices.

Here is WHY the SowPub Forum is so valuable.

A few years ago I noticed hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of auctions on Ebay - reselling Napoleon Hill books and CD's and DVD's.

All of these sellers are even more numerous today.
Because 3 out of 4 auctions I see have bids. It's amazing.

I've successfully created and sold 3 or 4 books and CD programs
that sell to this crowd of ENTHUSIASTIC buyers.

So after I read the Free Jim Straw Report about Masterminding. (Just google it) Where he talks about a 3rd mind POPPING up when two people talk...

I dug into Chapter I - "Law of Success" - of my Napoleon Hill book.

Where Dr Hill says, "Wherever two people talk - in rapport - a 3rd Mind is created.

So I NAMED this "The GHOST MIND."

Outlined and Wrote a book about it.

1/2 the book is about what happens when you COMPLIMENT WOMEN on a bright color they wear. And they fall down, run into things and other WEIRD stuff happens. (There is a Boomerang GHOST Mind effect too - I fell over and sat on a guy in a wheel chair testing this.)

1/2 the book is about how to make MOOLAH with the same GHOST MIND Compliment in a Business Situation.

Having an Ah Ha moment. The light bulb just turned on.

Thanks Glenn. I'm seeing the "Ghost Mind" concept in a whole new light.

As I review a "lifetime" of interaction, I can clearly see how the Ghost Mind played a role and exactly what I did to make it work.

This is a paradigm shift for me and I think I'll be able to articulate the significance of this in "selling" or "marketing" (or all things persuasive) and in "Chatteling" too.

I've always had an innate understanding of the Ghost Mind, but NOW, after a lifetime of experience, I can put the Ghost Mind to work and everything gets easier.

It may be one of those complicated concepts but you have a way to simplify things and make it understandable and useable.

See? Even us Old Dogs can learn a few new tricks.

I think your "Ghost Mind" concept is a BREAKTHROUGH.

I too have been using aspects of this GHOST MIND for years.

Chunking it down so others can use the idea too helps me
understand it better myself.

Odd.

But when you teach others something you learn the Most yourself.

I think Ralph Waldo Emerson has some slick quote on this -

Something like - "When you help others it's nice that the universe arranges things so you are helping yourself at the same time."

Which is a good thing.

I can alway use more help.

OK. Here's what is spinning around my head.

First the premise from Andrew Carneige/Nap Hill:

(Paraphrased) When two minds meet, a third mind is formed.

Choice one: NAW, I don't believe this and don't accept the premise. OK, then you can revert back to the Stimulus/Response model.

Choice two. Yea, I sort of accept it. I think there is something to it. Then I'd want you to flesh it out some more.

Choice three. I Accept the Premise. So, what does this third mind "look like"? Where does it operate? HOW?

Minds need brains? Maybe, but a meeting of the minds takes place by remote means when you are not face to face.

So, say I accept the premise. Now there is a third distinct "entity" created. Funny thing, I show this on the Square One Workshops on the PictoGrigm of Relationships where the bubbles of personal preoccupation intersect.

I've never thought of it as a "ghost mind" before Glenn called it that. Now I can clearly "see" what it is on the SQ1, I can get to know more about it.

As I asked above, HOW does it work? Is it an equal mix from both minds? I think not, one is the dominant one, the one that KNOWS it exists.

Many years ago I wrote an article on TCA, Total Conscious Awareness. In that article I submitted the idea that it is almost impossible to be in TCA for long periods of time, BUT, we can be in TCA for short bursts.

Total Conscious Awareness has 4 components:

1-Recognition and acceptance of our environment (desire to be involved)
2-Focus on the moment by controlling the distractions (correct observations)
3-Feelings and their stimulus (meaningful conclusions)
4-Correct Actions (correct for the moment within the greater "purpose")

By combining TCA with the "ghost mind", that is, being the dominant mind with the "agenda" (and that isn't nefarious or manipulative in a negative connotation sort of way)...to have a positive interaction with someone else.

The casual encounter can be pleasant, which, in business, could lead to further business, BUT, it serves its own purpose; maybe keeping a smile on our (their) face.

Of couse, if you know and understand the neuro processes, putting someone in a "state", especially a positive one, is also putting them in a buying mode too.

So now I have a "ghost mind", I'll call mine Casper (cause he's a friendly little ghost HA!).

When I approach someone, I become TCA of Casper. He now has a "mission", if nothing else, to be friendly.

By KNOWING Casper exists and understanding part of his makeup comes from someone else, and by utilizing Casper by working with the side of him I know...I can become even more effective at the "intersection" of our lives.

Anyhow, I'm thinking this is very powerful stuff. Of course, you have the right to disagree and to not accept the original premise. But, I have seen a light, and it feels as if it could lead to new discoveries for me.

You caught me furiously adding dozens of Videos to my GHOST MIND book.

Yoiks.

Your thinking is interesting and very different from mine.

My reasoning went like this -

A - Napoleon Hill interviewed the richest men in the world

B - He compiled 12 lessons - they all shared in common

C - But BEFORE anything else in his "Laws of Success Course" he discussed Ideas in the ether, mind to mind communication, the Mastermind Principle and the Creation of a 3rd mind wherever two people meet "en rapport".

I took this to mean that to get maximum benefit from the other 12 Laws - you should try to apply ideas in his Introduction.

EVERYTHING Napoleon Hill suggests in his books work.

So I've started testing the WEIRD
ideas at the front of the book that
make the other laws easier to apply.

AND since I can't get volunteers for this. I ended up selling wild and crazy FLIRT Case Studies - with HOW-To-Profit - ACTION PLANS at the end of each chapter.

FUN and PROFIT - mixed.

I'd have never thought of naming a GHOST MIND.

Good one.

Just for fun I'm going to name My GHOST MIND - "Herman."

And to be contrary.

I think it's possible a totally different GHOST MIND is created for each person you get IN RAPPORT with. Which means the bigger your NETWORK - the more massive your GHOST POWER.

(This certainly ADDS to the fun of Networking with a large group! IF you imagine GHOST MINDS popping up like Fireworks everywhere!)

And "Herman" always surprises me with POSITIVE Mastermind Results. But I don't feel in control except to the extent of knowing something GREAT is going to happen.

Let's get Specific!

Dear Gordon,

Thanks to your post about screentoaster.com

I went over there.

Made some quick Failure Videos. (Schools have it backwards - you gotta' fail to learn. Just don't spend money doing it.)

Then I Added a Video and Audio ACTION PLAN to each Chapter of my "Napoleon Hill GHOST MIND book.

It's now a VIDEO BOOK.

The auction price was stranded at 29.00

After I sent samples of the VIDEO BOOK add ons to the bidders - the auction shot up to 89.00!

Pretty fantastic. My 30 page book is now 100's of pages long - if you figure the Extra info in the audio/Video Links.

P.S. - What this means is that my little part time hobby of selling books on Ebay is Triple more profit and a Lot less work.

Cuz I can talk faster than I can type.
