Several years ago on this very forum, you posted this information.
I took note and a few days later while finishing a presentation for an ad program I got hit with it. I was ready. When the guy said he'd have to check with his wife first, I launched into the "no problem, if you're wife doesn't like the program any reason, than this agreement is void".
And that's exactly how I wrote it out on the contract and he signed it and gave me a check for $249.
That wouldn't have happened if I hadn't had a quick way to address the advertiser's reluctance to go ahead with the program.
I have used this since then and more times than not, they just go ahead with it. Very few ever cancelled.

This is a pretty good idea by Don! I haven't tried it yet myself, but I don't see why it wouldn't work a lot of the time...
I like the idea of writing it into the contract, too. Once people are "with" something, they're more likely to stick with it... Yet, they would feel at ease and feel that you're really looking after their interests (when it comes to the person they "gotta check with").
Great way to increase sales! It's a "win/win" approach, too. :)
