Scott Adams is actually very sharp - I did read one of his books many years ago, and it was good. I haven't read "How to Fail..." yet, but I plan to do so!
On Milton Erickson... If you're interested in marketing and sales, you have to familiarize yourself with this...
I've studied him to a degree, but there's still more for me to learn...
One of the most amazing things I read about his hypnotic technique are "embedded commands." He could tell a story, and induce a hypnotic state through "embedded commands" he would plant in the story. People would become hypnotized, without even being aware of it! They just thought they were listening to a story!
Scary stuff - but also extremely powerful!
