Default What works for me is....

I've found it very easy to get "Free Write Ups" in "Small Town Newspapers".

Doesn't make any difference whether you're starting a Retail Store, a Home-Based Service business....or....a Website....or...an "EBook"....smal town papers are HUNGRY for "articles about LOCAL people doing things"!

And...when you send your News Release to other editors...with a copy of the Article that ran in your local paper....chances are VERY GOOD, you will get a Write-Up!

WHY?

Because the editor of another publication has decided that..."Yes! YOU have something of interest!"

YOU have been "checked out" by another publication....so you are "OK".

Great psychology here. In fact, many of the Free Write-Ups I've gotten were exact copies of my News Release....they didn't Re-Write in their own words. Probably because, "Hey! If this other editor ran this, it should be OK for me to run the same words to MY audience!"

Anyway...that's the way it seems.

So...give a thought to sending a News Release to your local papers...and using any write-ups to "impress" other editors.

Works for me,

Don Alm
