Hey...Did Anyone Download 'The Plant' by Stephen King???

I think that I had my ID set to my initials and corrected that today.

I did send Gordon a message earlier today thanking him for this site. The quality of many other boards have deteriorated...and several have disappeared or become PRIVATE. I truly tire of the bickering, personal attacks and dribble. So, for the most part, I quit hanging out there...

I also debated running another board but you know my schedule dear - constantly running...and those other projects keep growing and growing...and multiplying!

Lucky for me that Gordon sprung forth into action, responded to the dirth and put up this quality board...freeing me of the obligation of running one (thanks again Gordon). Lucky for me, my other board takes care of itself as I have several self-appointed moderators. I think that is great.

So, I just might have a little place to flit around...here I mean.

Hey...did you notice that hanging around this site makes you feel more like you know the real Gordon...not that there was ever a fake Gordon... there is just MORE of him here. I can't tell you how many stories and posts I have read. It's nice to know that someone else shares my passion for cookin' (and I suspect eatin'). [g]

By the way, I might be traveling to So. Cal to pick up a VW campervan. Now don't go a scratchin' your head wondering what I'm doing now...the plans haven't changed...not really...they've been expanded a bit.

I'll be on the road most of October and it would be real nice to load all my gear, my cameras, my camping stuff, shovels, computers and that huge keyboard...with room to spare...into the VW bus. Heck I'd never have to come home right?
