Default The excitement of Soap!

I don't mean "soap operas" - though there's no denying those are exciting too.... I like it best when the evil twin kidnaps the good twin and trades places with him or her.... Uhhh.... back to the topic at hand! ;)

I agree with you, I think Harvey Brody has a good thing going, from the sounds of it....

Harvey Brody has posted once before on Sowpub.... http://www.sowpub.com/cgi-bin/forum/webbbs_config.pl?read=5511

Me too! I'm "hungry" for anything Harvey Brody will offer....

Yes, I agree, his approach also uses a ton of leverage.

By representing other people's products, he has leveraged their innovation and manufacturing abilities....

By selling to big store chains like Sears, Wal-Mart, etc., he is leveraging their regular customers....

From a leverage point of view, it seems close to the ultimate business!

Yes.... it's leverage again....

I think to make ordinary profits, you just have to keep in mind that "you have to sell something to somebody".

But to make EXTRA-ordinary profits, you gotta use leverage, there's no way around it!

Thanks Gordon.... I believe there is a heap of money in soaps, detergents, and so on. But any new product has to stand out from the crowd in some way....

There are stores which specialize in these kinds of items. They sell all kinds of "specialty" soaps, for example - lavendar soap, sandalwood soap, rose-petal soap (I'm not so familiar with this, so I may have made some up, but you catch my drift!).

There's a lot of "excitement" (and profits) in soap yet!
