I don't know about articles/websites/blogs but I do like a couple books about branding...

If you haven't read it yet, there's the "classic" book on this subject - Positioning: The Battle for your Mind by Al Ries and Jack Trout.

Another more recent book which I also like is The Origin of Brands by Al Ries and Laura Ries.

Ah yes, now I remember - there is also an associated blog about brands and branding written by Laura Ries - you can find it here. http://ries.typepad.com Might be worth a look? (I haven't read the blog much, so can't comment on the blog specifically...)
