![]() Sometimes the best ideas are relatively simple...
One Australian Mom was taking a plane flight with her kids, and had a great idea. She realized that, when a kid sits in an adult-sized airplane seat, there's a lot of room at the front of that seat! She came up with the idea of an inflatable pillow which could be used to fill that space... So a child can "stretch out" and even sleep, using the whole space like a bed! (Probably great for reducing crankiness in kids on long haul flights...) Since she started selling it... She's had a lot of demand! And yet, it's a relatively simple idea... ![]() Plane Pal Interview on Australian Television https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zxqg4H0kxNQ Samantha Cardone’s kids’ product Plane Pal has taken off https://www.google.com/search?q=Sama...+has+taken+off Sometimes, even simple ideas can be quite commercially successful... ![]() Best wishes, Dien

![]() I like it. It describes entrepreneurship to a T... find a need, then fill it with what people will pay for, and you can make a profit from.
Thanks Dien! |

Not a simpler way to make money, but a simple way to get your hotsheets up and running..... Purchase a quality PLR product...many come with cheat sheets, or even lead magnets...take either of these and expand or modify to make them yours...use the finished product as your hotsheet offering, and then offering a more flushed out version as an upsell to the actual PLR product. |

Thanks to this: (MY affiliate link) https://warriorplus.com/o2/a/bvb3b/0 I've come full circle on HOTSHEETS. And you all should too. Thanks to Amy showing us all the different best sellers at Amazon of checklists, tip sheets, guides, etc. I looked up some old work when I mentioned Tips Booklets/Paulette Ensign. I have a template, courtesy of Richard Dennis, of a one page sheet, double sided, which makes a nifty little 16 page booklet, he used it to give away cookies, I think wrapped it around a cookie with a rubber band. Anyhow, that template would make a great pocket HOTSHEET. Then there are posters, puzzles, wheels and cards. HOT ITEM: KIDS pics made into puzzles, jig saw and crossword. But, the thing is, have A MARKET first for your HOTSHEET, and then you will find it quite easy to get a simple, one page printed product which you can give away as a lead generator or sell for a nice profit. Gordon PS. Here is ONE idea to ponder, throw in a pet, and how much could you sell these for? https://www.collage.com/custom-photo...iAAEgJop_D_BwE |

![]() Thanks for reminding me of Paulette...a name that I had not heard mentioned in a long time.....and the little 16 page booklet...I think I still have that template on a 3½" floppy somewhere in my archives. I ran with a little 16 page booklet as an advertising medium way back when...15 business card sized ads in the booklet...each ad sold at $125 back then. Had print runs of 5000 and were distributed through coffee shops, doctors offices, small restaurants, etc. Later expanded it to a 16 page booklet as per Paulette of 4¼ x 6 for ads and crossword puzzles (ads were $200)....and then used same booklet size but with more pages as directories with ads sold and dollars for each listing. |

Thanks Cornell, I remember one of the first Dan Kennedy success stories was of a Brother and Sister who made a small fortune doing these coupon books. AND, one of the all time best sellers was Dean F.V. DuVall's $100,000 in 90 DAYS report where he pretty much gave out the same info, coupon books, getting boy scouts, bands, teams, etc. to sell them as fundraisers. You know Cornell, a few people are killing it today with full size crossword puzzles and coloring books, my local convenience store has replace almost all of their magazines with these things. And ADVERTISING hotsheets are a staple, be they 9 x 12 EDDM, menus, placemats, mugs, direct mail, and by the end of the summer, I might reveal a fantastic new advertising hotsheet which is getting a good shakedown as I type. RESULTS. From George Haylings, and Don Alm, and Ron Ruiz to those off liners like T.J. Rohleder of M.O.R.E. and a host of others. Some of us have tried many things these last 20 years, and some of us are still exploring, all the while living well and in control of time and finances. Thanks Cornell, you've had some good ideas over the years too, eh? Gordon |

True Gordon...the ideas come and go....some are acted on and many unfortunately fall by the wayside as there just isn't enough time in a one person operation to implement everything...for example you mention the crossword puzzles....I own domain name thefunmag.com...registered in 2004 for the intended purpose of the name...and here it sits 13 years later still undeveloped due to lack of time to devote to it....perhaps one of these days I will get to it ![]() Cornell |
