![]() Hi,
Gordon and Dien, congratulations on your new outstanding endeavor - this discussion place! Here is the question. One of my friends just bought a special gift for his wife (they celebrated their 25th anniversary). He bought her a...star. A certificate of "ownership" to be exact. My wife's reaction was: "Nuts!" Verily, "nutty" people buy and sell different kinds of "chattel" - Brooklyn Bridges, stars, Lincoln Farms. So, in a couple of days I am opening my new "Business Nuts" group for information exchange on the most weird, funny, "nutty" businesses that believe it or not pay well. The problem is that another friend found the name "Business Nuts" highly OFFENSIVE. Full of SEXUAL connotations (his judgement). Probably I am dumb, but I just don't hear those connotations in this simple word-play. Do you? Please help. Simon "Nuts" and Bolts of Internet Discounts |
