Sorry I haven't been posting much....

I thought I owed everyone here an explanation.... Lately, I've been spending a lot of time visiting my mother in hospital, where she's seriously ill. I appreciate any prayers you can make for her health....

By the way, although I haven't had time to post much recently (since I'm spending my time supporting my Mom), I've looked at the stats, and we have lots of visitors to this forum.... Thank you all for helping to support Sowpub.

Although I may sometimes go through times of personal difficulty, for me Sowpub is both a business and also a labor of love. I personally really love the discussions here.... Gordon Alexander and I started Sowpub in 2000, and in my opinion it has turned into something very remarkable....

So while I may have personal setbacks or difficulties, my intention is that this site will be here for a long time to come.

I know what you're going through, and my prayers are with you and your mother.

My mom was gravely ill for a year, but finally regained her health and is still around as a fairly robust 84 year old eight years later. So hang in and don't give up hope.

My mother has been in and out of the hospital the last month several times. She's 72 years old. Fortunately, I have several brothers and sisters who can help share the responsibility.

I'll be praying for you and your mother. And will ask our church to pray, too, tonight at our mid-week service.
