Default Physical products and the online dream....

Hi Mike,

I think Jim Straw would wholeheartedly agree with you, for instance.... And I'm also working on having my own "physical" products too, at least (for now) for Australia and New Zealand....

For example, I'm planning to market Gordon Alexander's tapes, "Think and Reach Par" to the Australasian market....

The main "dream" of online marketing is having an "automatic" system, that you set up and which runs automatically to bring the money in....

However, I don't think that things really work that way. The closest might be having an affiliate program, but even then you still need to provide support for your affiliates.... And without an affiliate program, you have to keep promoting....

Just putting a web page up, and waiting for people to come, doesn't work in the fast-changing world of e-commerce.... So you've got to keep working at it, keep things fresh and new....

But I still like ecommerce.... The potential is incredible. And with recent new developments in syndication -- as Gordon has recently pointed out -- just increases the number of new opportunities, especially for writers and other content providers.... As you probably know, ePubAdvisor is aimed at helping people to fully realize these new opportunities....

But can you make money with practically no work?

The answer is YES -- through investments. The catch is -- you must have some money already. You have to spend either your *money* or your *time* -- there's no other way that I know of.

And with investments, you still need to do some work to set the investment up (to do your research, etc.).

But once it's set up, and if you've done your research work well, then you'll have an automatic "passive income flow" coming in, month after month, year after year.... and you can set it up so you don't have to do anything to keep it going....

Cheers,

Dien
