>I hope this e-mail was posted as a joke. If this message was not a joke.... arrogance is the word that comes to mind.
I have a formal education (Marketing and Sales) and my last corporate job position was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for a large consumer packaged goods company. Because I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, I quit a great job 18 months ago, to start my own product design/import /distribution firm that focuses on unique products/designs that I have manufactured, usually in China.
I have given my background, to say that I found this board two weeks ago and I have been amazed by the intelligence of the people on this forum and I have learned alot!
In my old corporate job, I always was looking for people who had "street" smarts versus book smarts. Also, the desire to achieve will always win out over a degree hanging on the wall.
