Default Thanks Ter - great post!

Thanks Ter.... some very useful stuff there!

Since I stopped having a regular job and started working for myself in my own "home office", I had found (in my particular case) that the amount of exercise I did went down....

I think the reason why is, when I was working in a job, I did more daily walking. I walked from the car park to my office, walked from my office to another building for lunch, etc. Somehow, walking from my "home office" to the kitchen just doesn't compare!

One thing I noticed when I started swimming regularly is that, now, if I don't do it, I feel a bit "restless" and need to get that physical exercise! In fact, I need my swim now - I'm currently traveling, and haven't had the chance to go for my regular swim yet!

I'm glad to read that someone who is above the "normal" weight for their height, who is exercising regularly, could be more healthy than someone who is of "normal" weight for their height who isn't exercising. I'm above the "normal" weight for my height, and when I started swimming regularly, I found I actually gained a little bit of weight. I'm not too worried - I figure that most (possibly all) of that is new muscle. My swimming stamina has increased dramatically, so there has to be some new muscle somewhere!

Anyhow, thanks Ter - great post! And I believe this is a very important issue....

- Dien
