:::sticking his head back up:::
G ~
Up until a year or so ago I subscribed to the Nightingale-Conant monthly tape series. For quite a few years I received this monthly tape. What I found, after listening to hundreds of hours of these tapes... Was a basic underlying theme. After which, each tape seemed to mimic the rest, and I was losing interest in them. There is a basic strategy for success which comes out after being exposed to these for so long. Much like the wisdom in Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich'. You cannot single it out specifically... But you become enlightened when it becomes visible to you. To this day I still purchase tapes from Nightingale-Conant. Robbins, Brian Tracy, and especially Zig Ziglar to name a few. Quite a few years back, actually my first introduction to Direct Response Advertising, were the taxidermy series from Northwestern School of Taxidermy! My first $4.95 brought me a small little brown three ring binder and my first "Book" introducing taxidermy as a hobby and a profession. I was 12 years old! For $4.95 a month, once they rec'd my payment, I rec'd another "Lesson" until, I believe, all twelve were in my hands. Now, Mom wouldn't allow me to stuff roadkill in the house at that tender young age... So I held onto them and in high school got them back out and began to do some little work. I made a few hundred dollars over the next couple of years as a hobby in High School. But interestingly enough... I spent more in purchasing tools, and materials to do the jobs from their in-house suppliers! All of this at least four years after I had the series of lessons in my hands... So... Looking back... I was quite a customer, and backend marketing is a very old tool. They were using backend principles, all of the "New Experts" profess, 25 years ago on me! Nothing much new.... is there??? Success and Regards... Mike |
