I gotcha... Well I think that the phone compnaies are in a real bind with dial-up access. I mean they are very limited to how fast they can deliver the net over phone lines... you're very right about that. I use Adelphia (cable co) for broadband... I would look into that in your area. The only other alternative is wireless, but since you're in the country, chances are you won't get an access point.
