Lordy, lordy, look who's 40!
Hi there!
I decided to pop in here because Rick sings praises for all of you! I'm working on developing a business plan with a client. We need to pick the brains of anyone that is 40+. Yes, you can squeeze in if you're 39... : ) Those of us in the 40+ crowd did not grow up with computers. If you remember things like calculators that were as big as a paperback, or the dewey decimal system in the library, you probably qualify! Here's the question... We want to know "what" the internet is lacking. Is there some specific knowledge that you wish you could find information about, that you just don't seem to be able to find? What are your interests? Hobbies? Anything that you can't seem to find much "quality" information about? I posted this at a couple of other boards a while back and got a sprinkling of letters saying.. a) We want information about stuff that's not tied to a sales pitch. (no mention of what the "stuff" might be, of course..) b) We want good business information. c) We want to know how to make a lot of money online and not have to do too much work. (comments reserved for another time) I'm hoping for thoughts that are just a *tad* more informative or profound. Tell me what you think the internet lacks as a whole. What haven't you been able to find? Where are the proverbial black holes that just keep leading nowhere? Incidentally... this post is not meant to "ignore" people under 40. We're just looking for thoughts from those that are in the over 40 crowd at this time. Thanks! If you're part of the 40+ crowd, I sure appreciate your thoughts... and thanks in advance!
