![]() Hi, Jack - thanks for getting back to me; looking at the Jersey site, in a way the two scripts are doing different things. Our script allows webmaster/business owners to run their own online presence and promote themselves in their individual ways, as well as having a "front" site where all may (or may not be listed); it also allows people to run their own secure shopping cart/mailing list or simple listings site. It is possible to limit the size of site each business has - by number of pages and the size of the database in the shopping cart. The "mall" owner also has the facility to send billing information to each shop and mail a general mailing to all store owners.
The Jerseybizguide.com site promotes a community of businesses and would seem to be a sophisticated directory system; I didn't surf far through it, so I can't compare the other features. But it would seem to me that they each accomplish different (even though similar) things. I guess it depends how you see your market developing as to which system would best suit your needs. :-) - it would be nice to think there might be room in your budget for both! I wish you luck with whichever route you decide to take. Best Margaret |
