For the past 9 years, I have done nothing but Direct Mailings. Every once in a while I place a space ad, or write an article - but - since I have an in-house mailing list of about 700,000 I just keep mailing.

No matter how you go about getting into a mailorder business, you must start building an in-house mailing list. That, alone, is the biggest secret to mailorder marketing. As a matter of fact, I recommend that anyone wanting to get into mailorder start building a list even before they begin their business.
