Wordpress offers the best of both worlds as you can use it to maintain a blog and also include "static" pages like a more traditional website would have. If you think you can write enough regular content to justify a blog then by all means go for it, but I've seen many blogs started with good intentions fall apart when their owners didn't update them on a regular basis. I've installed Word Press many times without a hitch, but most web hosting companies offer wordpress as a 1-click install that should make the process painless for you. Check with your host to see if they offer this (and that they offer the most current version of WP), and if they don't, you may want to find another host! :-) Good luck! Steve www.ravedesigns.com |
