addresses of neighbors around your customers

I've seen a post on here where you can get the names and addresses of neighbors around your customers or the addresses of people on a street. I can't remember what that resource was. Does anyone remember?

I used to use the "Cross Index Directory" published by Johnson Publishing in Longmont, CO.

Don't know if they're still in biz but you could Google "Cross Index Directory" and see what comes up....or call your local Library and ask the Reference Dept if they have a "Cross Index Directory". This is how I first heard about this book. Served me well for many years.

Howdy Jason,
This technique was first posted by Lawrence I believe:

"Go to mapquest.com, or maps.yahoo.com or any map site. Type in any street for any neighborhood you want to work in......

Then go to whitepages.com and click Reverse Address.

Enter the STREET only without the street NUMBER.

This will pull up most of the phone numbers and names of everyone on that street.

Then go back to mapquest, and get the next street name, and repeat.

You can get yourself a huge targeted market!

go to http://www.whitepages.com and all you have to do is go to "reverse address" and enter an address and search, then click "find neighbors". Very simple, thank you everyone. I’ve got some great ideas I’m going to work on and will let you know when I have them finished.
