![]() I guess the concept is to take the domain names that you own, but are not using, and "park" them with a page full of advertiser links. Then you generate revenue from the "pay per click" advertising on each page.
Example: https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/park/landing.asp?ci=6484 Is anyone using this? Does anyone know if there is worthwhile money to be made? A business associate of mine owns over 800 domain names. He's agreed to split any profits with me if I can sell/lease/ or otherwise make some money with them. So far, this seems like the best way to generate some residual income. All I'd have to do is set up an account and then add all of his domains (and probably set them all to point to a new DNS server or something) it would cost me nothing and the potential monthly residual income is pretty sweet. Anyway, if anyone knows more about this please let me know. - Todd http://www.arizonasfamilyrealtor.com |

![]() As Phil said - it depends on the domain name.
Domains that work very well with such a setup is: * mis-spelled domain names (for eg: googel.com) * keyword.com (because, sometimes people use the navigation bar to search for a keyword and are then forwarded to the keyword.com) I myself have not had experience in making money with domain parking. But a few weeks back, Bill Myers made some cool videos about the topic. And I know a few people who do make money with domain names. What they usually do is use www.sedo.com to park their domains and earn some money through ads. But the bulk of their money comes when they sell a domain from their portfolio fo 3-4-5 figures. So they use sedo.com just to cover their domain and renewal costs and then make the bulk of their income when they end up selling their domains. |

![]() Thanks for the responses. I found sedo.com yesterday, looks like a better deal than paying for godaddy to park it. With 800+ domains, there has to be a little money to be made with my friends names. I'll update if anything comes of this.

![]() I put up 5 of my domains that I haven't developed on Sedo.com a few days back. (Actually, one of them I'd developed but scrapped it a time back.) It took me less than 10 minutes to sign up fo sedo and change the name servers for my domain names.
Result till now: am averaging around €0.44 a day. That is around $0.60. Out of the 5 domains - 2 domains have made me zero money. The 3 other domains are about the same. If everything remains the same for the entire year, I will make about $200-220 of these 5 domains. My cost is $46 per year for all the 5 domains. So thats a very good profit for doing nothing. If I end up selling one of the domains, that is even higher profit. I'm not sure if I'll keep on getting the same results that I've received till now. But it looks promising till now. |

![]() Finally have most of the domains listed with sedo (475 of them right now). Most of them are not very good names unfortunately, but some might do OK. I'm still trying to get all the domain name servers to point to sedo so that it will work, then have to finish adding keywords to each domain and catagorize them.
Some of the pretty good domains I've listed: http://www.creditrepairrealestate.com/ http://www.ninetyninecentstores.com/ http://www.arizonamortgagebankers.com/ Well, some of the best ones I don't have working yet, but anyway, looks like it might work out alright! I'll let ya know if we start making some cash with them. - Todd |

![]() Cool find Phil!
Looks like using activeaudience.com's services - one could earn more money per click on the parked domain. The only problem is - sedo.com also sells your domains. And I think the most amount of money is made on the sale of the domain. So - I'm still going to stick with sedo - but might experiment with a domain or 2 over at activeaudience.com website... |

![]() Seems like activeaudience helps selling of the website too - by making it easy to list the domain at buydomains.com - not sure how the whole thing works though...
Will check it out when I have more time. |
