![]() Thanks for the responses. I found sedo.com yesterday, looks like a better deal than paying for godaddy to park it. With 800+ domains, there has to be a little money to be made with my friends names. I'll update if anything comes of this.

![]() I put up 5 of my domains that I haven't developed on Sedo.com a few days back. (Actually, one of them I'd developed but scrapped it a time back.) It took me less than 10 minutes to sign up fo sedo and change the name servers for my domain names.
Result till now: am averaging around €0.44 a day. That is around $0.60. Out of the 5 domains - 2 domains have made me zero money. The 3 other domains are about the same. If everything remains the same for the entire year, I will make about $200-220 of these 5 domains. My cost is $46 per year for all the 5 domains. So thats a very good profit for doing nothing. If I end up selling one of the domains, that is even higher profit. I'm not sure if I'll keep on getting the same results that I've received till now. But it looks promising till now. |

![]() Cool find Phil!
Looks like using activeaudience.com's services - one could earn more money per click on the parked domain. The only problem is - sedo.com also sells your domains. And I think the most amount of money is made on the sale of the domain. So - I'm still going to stick with sedo - but might experiment with a domain or 2 over at activeaudience.com website... |

![]() Seems like activeaudience helps selling of the website too - by making it easy to list the domain at buydomains.com - not sure how the whole thing works though...
Will check it out when I have more time. |

![]() Hi Ankesh, Do you mind letting me know who your webhost and domain provider is. It seems like a good price. Thanks |

![]() Thanks for asking Sam.
For domain names, I use godaddy.com - $9.20 per domain per year. If you use the domain parking idea to make money - you don't need a web host. You can park your domains with sedo.com or activeaudience.com for free. And they will show the pages with ads automatically. Other than domain parking, I host most of my other domains with dreamhost.com - you just need one a/c with them to host multiple domains - and they cost about $10 a month. They are not the fastest in customer support - but their services are damn good and the best I've found. Other good hosts I've heard good things about and are in the same price range are: servage.net and midphase.com |

Thanks Ankesh, I've bookmarked that webhost a multiple domain host at $10 a month great value! One thing, do you have to register the domains through them in order to be able to host your sites there? Because I have found $4.95 domains so I may well give this ago bearing in mind I don't have to have a webhost if I'm going to use seedo. Then my break-even is 0.0135c a day or 0.4125c per month. You said you were making 60c a day for 3 accounts 0c for 2 for an average of 0.36c a day per account (did I get this correct?). So you are 26 times over break even (using $4.95) or 13 with godaddy.com. This seems to good to be true are my figures accurate? Also do you have any tips on what domain names to pick. I might go the bmeyers route and use misspelled domain names, I'll have to go through his videos on this, you've set a spark alight. Thank you. |
