Speaking about advertising in public restrooms...

Before they were bought by eBay, Half.com got some local "buzz" through some restroom advertising.

They distributed free urinal mats (that is, those little rubber things in urinals that help prevent splashing in male rest rooms). Their urinal mats had the message -

"Don't piss away half your money, head to Half.com."

I guess it got people talking! You can read about it in Mark Hughes' book, "Buzzmarketing".
