![]() I'd love to but don't know how to get started.
Of course some cynics say if you go to the Chinese restaurant every week then you're already doing business. Better yet we're all most likely already doing business in China. Do you buy clothes? toys? See what I mean it has just been one way. Meaning your money is going the other direction. Nothing wrong with that. We get good products at lowered prices then use the savings to buy American Idol Bowls But just in case you figure you want to sell in China not sold by China I thought you'd like to know about this free executive education free report by the University of Wisconsin, 14 Do's And Don't for Negotiation Meetings in China |

![]() Hi, Garth - seems to me that the Chinese Embassy in the US at
http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/ might be a place to make enquiries. Sometimes countries are so keen to attract overseas buyers that they offer special deals on flights and accommodation to attend trade shows in their country. Not sure if this applies to China, but it would be a good place to start. Best Margaret

![]() You might call your library and see if they good an information on trade books for china items. That is a start of importing. Also you might go to the Commerce Department of the Government. Here is also a toll free number that can help you, I look in my books but can't find right now. I know where it is at home on a tape. I won't be going home until about an hour from now. I will put it on this forum later. These Government people could help you.
You also can buy cheap book from the Govenment on exporting and importing. They are very reason in price. And they are not copyrighted. There is a product for you. Last edited by GordonJ : May 17, 2007 at 06:28 PM. |

![]() I believe that Garth wants to sell TO China, not import from China.
And, Margaret had it spot on with her link to the Chinese Embassy. Pete |

![]() I read correctly but I gave me both import and expert information, all that I had in my collection. I learn these things from Cossman, U.S. Goverment and Mat Lesko. Her system will help no doubt but mine was a lot more information.
That toll free number worked for a client of mine that need information too. Last edited by GordonJ : May 20, 2007 at 09:41 PM. |
