Junior billboard advertising?

I've never done this myself. But its not a bad idea. To me, it seems that the whole business depends on: Location.

Get your billboards in good locations and they'll sell themselves.

I live in Mumbai. The city is full of tall buildings and skyscrapers. Here is what I know happened in my friends building.

Someone approached the building and asked them if they could place a billboard on it. In return, the company would pay their building maintenance costs every month. The residents put the proposal to vote. And it passed because the residents would save money.

I have no idea how much the person makes on the billboard every month. But the billboard does change every so often.

I think this is a good idea if you are in a good cized city. And if your city has a few advertising agencies.

1. Rent billboard space from other buildings. Or buy space if you can.
2. Lease it out to ad agencies.

In smaller towns where there are no ad agencies, you'll most likely have to do the selling of ads yourself too.
