![]() Phil,
Excellent ideas with endless Advertising and levels of Technology twists. For example, here in NW Washington State (US), Canadian shoppers are coming down across the border in droves searching for deals - real and imaginery ![]() And who knows how many of these Canadian shoppers go online first to map out their trip. One idea to take advantage of this traffic would be to set up your own BordertownDeals.com Google Map/Business Directory to help local area merchants to reach these hot prospects with their own current product slide shows, videos, printable coupons, etc. With a combination Google Maps and Picassa or a service like Flickr or Photobucket, it's now a pretty simple thing to set up and maintain on a regular basis. Then run PPC ads in Canada promoting your Google Map/Business Directory, charging merchants a monthly fee, or price per lead to be included. Depending how you choose to set it up, twenty-five merchants at $100 per month during a peak season comes to $2500 a month and sounds like a viable goal to start. With this type of readily available, value-added technology Travel/Tourism, New Resident, (and for larger metro areas) Home Improvement/Contractor, Beauty and Health, etc., all present a promising Google Map/Business Directory niche. Well worth a look at the links and ideas Phil has presented, thanks! Rod |
