![]() Hi Julie,
That's a great story, and Julie, congratulations! :) > My friends at the party got a good laugh as > I gloated, and then understood what I meant > about not knowing significant "last > times". It reminds me that if we choose > to be mindful and live every day and every > situation as if it was our "last > time" how much more full our lives > would truly become. Those are some great thoughts.... Life is wonderful if you can grasp the moment.... I know that sometimes, I tend to live in the past, reliving days gone by.... And yet sometimes, I tend to live in the future, wondering and worrying about things to come.... Now, all that is well and good -- though every moment RIGHT NOW, THIS SECOND something WONDERFUL is occurring.... Sometimes, it pays to stop, relax, and observe what's going on around you.... Somewhere, a butterfly is fluttering from flower to flower.... Gathering nectar, and helping to pollinate the flowers.... Elsewhere, there's a tadpole emerging from its little egg into the huge world of its little pond.... Somewhere else, a plant is photosynthesizing, taking in the warm rays of the sun and using it to convert carbon dioxide to oxygen so we can breathe.... I love reading your writings, Julie, because you always remind me of these many wonderful things.... :) Julie, your web site and mailing list are cool, groovy, and wonderful.... Reading your writings is like a having a fresh drink of cool mountain springwater on a hot and dusty day! It helps to quench the thirst we build up living our too-complicated lives.... Julie, Thank you.... :) Dien Julie's place, where you discover how to savor life! :) |
