Help with the view

There are a few things you can do to alter how you view the forum...

WAY #1:

The first one is that, when you go into a thread, find the button that says "Display Modes" (at the top right of the first post). For example, you might see it at the top right of this post, if this is the first post on the page you are viewing.

After clicking on "Display Modes", you can select "Linear Mode", "Hybrid Mode" or "Threaded Mode". (Personally, I like "Hybrid Mode", though everyone is different.)

Whichever one you select, if you're logged in, the forum will remember your preferences (so you don't have to keep changing it).

WAY #2:

You can also try the following too. To change how you view the main forum page (the one that lists all the posts), after you log in, click on "User CP" (near the top left of any forum page). That stands for "User Control Panel".

From there click on "Edit Options".

Then, scroll down till you see "Threaded Forum Views", and "disable" that to get to the "non-threaded" look.

Make sure to scroll to the end of that page and click "Save", so the software will "remember" your choice.

Now, whenever you look at the forum main page, it will give you the "non-threaded" look. You can also change it back (by "enabling" the "Threaded Forum Views" button).

The forum will remember the options you choose (as long as you are logged in).
