![]() Jim,
One thing I would VERY much like to see you do is dissect one of your existing money making affiliate websites... Tell us step-by-step how you conceived, researched, and created the site, and how much money is began generating for you... oh, and how you drove traffic to the site, etc. :) I know many authors of such books are reluctant to provide that much detail about their sites because they believe someone will copy it... and they're probably correct. Therefore you would essentially be sacrificing whatever site you use as an example, but perhaps the subsequent ebook sales (and the goodwill you generate) will make it worth the sacrifice. If you write an ebook that includes this kind of information, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Good luck, -Steve Gill Arcana Media Arcana Media Website Design ![]() |

![]() hmm - maybe you would get better results if you did send irregular messages to your affiliates inspiring them.
Maybe sending them a success story of how some one else earned a good profit being your affiliate would give them the nudge they need to focus on selling your products. In my experience - I have found that the first sale is the deciding factor. If the affiliate gets commission from his first sale within a week or so - he focuses more on selling the product. He has seen some results - and so he is all set to roll. And in my experience - a few inspiring messages with case studies - would help the affiliate to get the first sale faster - and make him more determined in selling your products. But I have never tested this - and don't know for sure if sending inspirational case studies does increase the results of the affiliates. But its worth testing. ![]() Over the past 40 years, I have yet to find it worth the effort. And, YES, I have used every motivational trick in the book, at one time or another.
People who need to be stroked to do what they should do to make money really can't be helped. Sorry, Jim |

![]() Jim:
Seemingly, within Paul's response is yet another question that is foundational to all list building. How does one build that bridge of trust so necessary to maintaining and keeping a loyal subscriber base? My own experiences have shown that a picture of the "net-prenuer", and or his family, make a big difference for me in creating an affinity with someone I've never met. Perhaps there are other methods that could be discussed. The step by step method is a needed commodity but to extrapolate that idea, perhaps you could give links to where "each step" could be best conducted and completed. So that each step builds upon and toward the next, giving me an attainable goal to reach and achieve. I've been on the net almost 10 years and still feel confused by much of what is at my beck and call. Perhaps your book could be sold in two stages so that those struggling with their finances could start with being a beginner and graduate to the more complex stages of entrepreneurial expertise. Something that would be very helpful would be to have information about a program that you have sold yourself and could vouch for, so one could start out with a “guaranteed feeling”! A “feeling” that if they were to put the effort into this method that there would be a return on the investment. Most of “us” put MANY dollars into programs that are complicated at best and impossible at worst. Many of “us” would like to have someone show us the ropes for the beginner so that we could graduate to the more advance stages of success. Success is not always measured in dollar signs, for many it is measured in the achievement of goals and then the dollars signs come as a natural result of learning that the achievement of goals is actually possible. When you bridge the gap for the multitudes that help them / us see that the “hope” you are selling is actually possible for “even me” then your product will have tangible viability. Hope these gleaned pieces of information help. Respectfully Reeder Lyons [email protected] PS I am one of your subscribers and would like to see your new book. |

![]() Although it is absolutely necessary to become known if YOU are selling your own product or service - but ...
As an "affiliate marketer" you only need rely upon the notoriety of the person who is actually selling their product. Nobody needs to know who you are ... they need to know the person selling the product. Jim |
